Despite the fact that the whole Alex Rodriguez/Madonna fiasco has just recently blown up, it seems that A-Rod has been smitten with the Material Girl for quite some date.

According to a friend, Alex was exchanging text messages with Madge during dinner in Miami, Florida six months ago and acting as giddy as a teenager.
